It’s really hard to be an Overseas Filipino Worker, the so called “new heroes of our generation. “ Why did I say so? I have this colleague, whom her husband is working as OFW in Saudi Arabia. He spent four long years, for the future of his Grade 5 daughter (Hazel) and Prep son (Kyle).
Just a day or two, he arrived and you know what his son told him? “Ikaw po ba ang asawa ng nanay ko?” (more…)
